🎹 For one night only, Juno Award–winning pianist Jan Lisiecki presents a program of beauty, drama, and ecstasy devoted exclusively to the prelude. From the Baroque grace of J. S. Bach to the melancholy expression of Chopin's 24 Preludes and modernist takes from Karol Szymanowski and Olivier Messiaen, Lisiecki's program travels through time to explore how the prelude form sparked each composer's imagination.

🎹 Dans ce récital, présenté un soir seulement, Jan Lisiecki, pianiste primé aux JUNO et « musicien d’un raffinement et d’une imagination hors du commun » (Boston Globe), présente un programme entièrement consacré au prélude, mêlant beauté, drame et extase. De l’élégance baroque de Jean-Sébastien Bach à la mélancolie des Vingt-quatre préludes de Chopin, en passant par les interprétations modernes de Karol Szymanowski et d’Olivier Messiaen, Lisiecki nous invite à voyager dans le temps et à explorer comment le prélude a su inspirer chacun de ces compositeurs.
